Sergey Chirun

Abstract

The author believes that Russian authoritarianism is a socially and politically non-uniform phenomenon, with a manifestation of national-regional features and characteristics. Russian authoritarianism has demonstrated certain vitality. At a certain historical stage, it has solved some problems of socio-political development relatively successfully. However, further domination of authoritarianism in the political system, according to the author, will inevitably lead to strained relations between the narrow class rent-consumers and socially active people, young people. In some regions this can cause large-scale social upheavals. The author believes that in modern conditions networks of horizontal type being at the same time the foundation of the civil society can be considered as a better alternative to clientele.
